Hi, I'm Marketa — 30 years old, originally from the Czech Republic. I lived in Scotland for seven years, and today I call Sofia, Bulgaria home. Even as a little girl, I loved baking with my grandma, especially Christmas cookies, which were my favourite. It was in Scotland that I began experimenting more and adapting different recipes, and in the end it became a passion.
I love making all kinds of cookies and cakes, and I especially enjoy decorating them — I take care that everything I bake looks as good as it tastes. Baking always lets me retreat into my own little world for a while, and seeing the reactions of people who taste my sweets is a wonderfully rewarding feeling.
